write_pha

sherpa.astro.io.write_pha(filename: str, dataset: DataPHA, ascii: bool = True, clobber: bool = False) → None[source] [edit on github]

Write out a PHA dataset.

Parameters:

filenamestr: The name of the file.
dataset: The data to write out.
asciibool, optional: If True use an ASCII format, otherwise a binary format.
clobberbool, optional: If True then the output file will be over-written if it already exists, otherwise an error is raised.
